One of my usual practices is to ban members with a rating of -2 to prevent them joining my programs. I've noticed recently, particularly today, that there's been a hell of a lot of them. Then I noticed 3 had the same IP number. I suspect there's more. Sorry, I didn't make a note of the names.
But beware of IP - 59.178.xxx.xxx
I'm just about to let Jay know.

I've just emailed him. I've banned a couple of dozen of people/person in the last few days with -2 ratings. And they all seem to be new members.

As you know dear zippy. Getref is not perfectly undestandable how this all works at first impact. That's the reason we have put on Topic with tutorials stucked on General Section (even new members do not join Forum as we expected). Sometimes as you said members simply do not understand rules and how to work credits system, then they claims for credits without doing nothing ( and they get a quickly decline of course )

Zippy don't even bother banning them unless you have a rating below 11... otherwise you can decline them without penalty AND make their ratings go even lower.

I prefer to miss out the hassle of them tying up my credits and waiting to see if they're going to do anything. By banning them first, they can't join my programs, be active until they get my credits, and then stop clicking. That still happens sometimes but this way reduces the chances of it happening.

Update - beware of anyone claiming credits with an IP number 89.214.xxx.xxx
Three attempted scams against me today from that domain. Suspicious but I can't prove it's 1 person with multiple accounts.

Delighted to have been of assistance. It's also possible there are more I don't know about. Why the Hell did he/she/it pretend to sign up under so many names to the same program? Did he/she/it think I wouldn't notice? Strange!

At the start of this thread I advised caution with a particular member with an IP starting 59.178.xxx.xxx
I've just found 2 more on the worst earners list on that domain.

This person is still on the go. I've just found approx 15 new multiple accounts on the worst earner list. They were created yesterday and today. I don't get targeted by this nuisance anymore but he gets a lot of denials plus some acceptances.
IP numbers to beware of -
188.140.xxx.xxx
92.250.xxx.xxx
95.69.xxx.xxx
89.214.xxx.xxx
59.178.xxx.xxx
Please be careful, ladies and gents.

Thanks Zippy! I cannot understand the reason of creating more account btw; or have ton of dollars to spend in credits, or try to scam people, but from last improvement Jay did promoter can decline easier than before.
