Hi everyone,
I decided to create a new section of the board for new links (based on your feedback), here is where all new new URLS that you wish to be added to GetRef should be posted. Do not post any URL on the General board any longer, as I will not be checking that board for referral link requests.
If you want a new program added to Getref please first check that it is not already in the program list. To get a new program added make a post in the "Add new Website requests" thread on the Message Board. You should a start new topic with your program name in the subject and not post in existing threads. Please use the forum search facility to see if a site has already been requested.
YOU MUST PROVIDE A REFERRAL LINK FOR ME TO POST.
I cannot stress this enough.
When posting your link, do not put your referral link at the end of the link put XXXXXXX or "yournamehere" or something generic. If you do not abide by this rule, I will delete your post. Reason for this is I do not want spam on this message board, and it quickly turns into a spammed board if certain rules aren't abided by.
Good Examples
www.mysitetoadd.com/?r=XXXXXX
www.mysitetoadd.com/?r=[userid]
www.mysitetoadd.com/?r=
Bad Examples
www.mysitetoadd.com/?r=12345
www.mysitetoadd.com/?r=billsmith
Sites are added in a single cycle about once every month.
Currently, WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PAY SITES. So if there is a membership fee required when joining a site, don't bother posting it. This may change in the future, but for now this is the way it is.
ADDED MAY 24/2005

Ok I made an executive decision. Because of the overwhelming popularity of the traffic exchange/hyip type of site, and because they are in essence 'free' to join. I will allow them. Straight HYIP's are still not eligible, but traffic exchange/hyips are going to be eligible as long as they have a free membership option.
Personally, I remain skeptical about these types of site, and as always, GetRef offers absolutely no guarantees for any of the third party sites that the members here promote.
That said, I wish everyone the best of luck promoting your site

Thanks,
Jay
