I need some advise.
I am new to GetRef so I haven't accumulated a seller rating yet but I did receive a signup that needs to approved.
The problem is, the referral didn't show up in my downline but I don't want to decline the request as to not receive a negative seller rating.
Is there a way to contact the purchaser to see if he/she signed up for my program under a different username than he uses in GetRef ( I checked with the Web Master of the program to verify the non-signup)?
If not, what would you do?

Hi rjbass, What you are commenting about, although frustrating, is the exact thing that actually allows GetRef to work. If it wasn't for this tug-o-war of credit loss vs. fear of gaining a negative rating, people would likely take advantage of the system, and the system would die. Although I like to think that most people are honest to begin with, the rating system helps enforce that by making everyone's transaction history readily visible, a good history means that people will more likely feel safe to join your program, knowing that you are likely to accept it if they actually do join it properly. Of course the opposite of this is that a low history will mean that people will be more skeptical about joining your programs, because it would appear that you are more likely to decline a transaction even if they join the program properly. I know I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know, but to answer your concern, you need to do what you think is right. If you are basically a good user, in the long term your feedback will reflect a percentage of success that is similar (or better) than the average success rate (posted on the main page at the top right after logging in).
