As a Gold member (paid for 6-month membership), I would really like to see what other members, both Gold and free, think about how this type of promotion affects the value of GetRef membership, if it does at all. Let's discuss among ourselves!

I like the idea of a contest of some sort. but I think one of this type causes junk sign ups.
I try and stay in all the programsI sign up for here and click alot for my uplines at least for a month, even the ones that I decide I don't like. but everybody has their favorite programs that you pay the most attention to, and the others sometimes don't get any attention (or not as much as they should) based on how much time you have, whether you feel like it today, and just how many mails did you receive from all of your programs together today.
a referral based promotion would probably be better because it will bring in more people to signup for the programs.

Yep, I totally agree with jlpars. I've had three signups this month, 2 that I've just confirmed and saw that they're climbing the list for most earns. It doesnt give me much confidence that they'll still be in my programs next week. (the other is already trying to build his own downline in the prog he joined , that does give me confidence) Now to be fair, I've been with Getref since it began or very close, and have gotten some really great ppl in my downlines (thx to those ppl) but there have sure been a lot of duds too. How about a contest where the upline nominates ppl in their downlines who have been in their programs for at least a month or 2 ?? Maybe a random draw ? I'd love to have a way to reward the good signups

I also agree.
I don't want a long downline of inactive members, if I did I would just get cheap paid to sign-ups.
We don't need rewards and competitions we just need active sign-ups.
I have always tried to be active in all the programs I join and expect others to do so as well. Just be active for a month or recruit another member and I am happy.
Bye for now Jackie "opportunity".

I also agree. I had a lot of new sign-ups in June and several this month but some 60% have gone, some just after I confirmed their credits. I will not mention members that joined my programs as "sfdghsdf" or some similar junk names or those that haven't logged into the program not even once Though I'd like some contest to encourage members to join new programs (and GOLD membership is a HUGE reward), I don't think it's possible to reward them by their activity in the programs joined as there are a lot of programs where you can not tell which ref is active and which one not (most PTRs doesn't have that and there are some you just see the number of refs). So that could be unfair to some. I haven't any idea what the contest could be... working too long, maybe another pot of coffee would help Cheers, Ankica
