Hi everyone,
I don't generally like to make quick decisions when it comes to the GetRef economy, so trust me when I say that I have thought about this change for a very long time.
Basically, earn by clicking on links has been undervalued for a very long time, it takes users incredibly long to amass any reasonable amount of credits by clicking on links, and the reason for this is that the minimum amount for a click was set at 1/1000th of a credit.
Because we had so many cheaters in this section using autoclickers, I basically thought that that was probably all the click was worth.
The big problem with this is that with all those autoclickers running night and day, it is a tremendously high server load, and an incredible amount of database hits.
This was the reason about a 2 years ago that I instituted a minimum rating to be allowed to click on links.
So I started thinking, and it dawned on me that if I was able to get rid of the autoclickers, or at least keep them to a very minimum, that people would assess the value of a click to be more. If it is a real person clicking, someone would probably be more likely to pay a little more.
So there you have it. now by clicking links, it will take you 10% of the time it used to to amass the same number of credits.
Comments are welcome, I realize this may cause some users to be upset, however I truly think this step is required for the greater good of the site.

Well, I'm seeing less links than usually and I think it's so much comfortable to click all them than before.

Yes I personally even clicked a few today. It takes way fewer clicks to get the same amount of credits.
