Jay At this stage I decline more than I accept. People who were supposed to sign up under me just don't appear in my program. My user rating drops fast. What must I do? Do you expect me to accept people that did not sign up?

Hi Demalan, Please read the following post getref.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=Help&action=display&thread=1095214654I have answered the same question to another user there. Keep in mind that the success rate right now for converted referrals is over 91% (you can see the stat when you log in). This means that credit 'spenders' approve credit 'earners' requests over 91% of the time. Thanks, Jay

Jay It is not my experience that 91% of the people do legit subscriptions. For instance, the getref member GIUSTCASH have now for the second time subscribed for one of my programs (under the name "getref"), without appearing in my downline at all. I have no other choice, I must decline him.

OK, Forget my last post. Though "retref" did not sign up for 30dollarsmail, he DID signup for 50dollarsmail and I gave him credit.

Actually, My point wasnt to say what your experience was, but what the average real time percentage is of all users combined. That 91.27% that you see when you log in is updated real time, so it is a correct percentage of how many credit requests are accepted versus declined. Jay

Oh my! I was going over previous posts looking for an answer to a question I have (not related to this post at all, by the way) and my jaw just about hit the floor when I saw this post from Demalan. The only thought I could fully form while reading this was: "Well, holy heck, demalan! Maybe if you waited longer than 12 hours before declining requests, people might actually have a chance to sign up!" Well, okay, that was the second thought. The first was rather inappropriate for a family friendly board... Yes, in the proper course of things, it would be right to complete a signup before requesting credit, but sometimes a little bit of generosity in time BEFORE you hit decline will go a long way. Like, in the case of parents with sick four year old daughters trying to climb onto their laps (especially when the kid is getting to be as big as you are...my poor kid is average size for her age, but I am a tiny little 5'1" and barely scrape 100, so...you can see picture THAT creates...sigh) Anyway, my daughter wants attention, is climbing all over me and I accidentally hit the complete thinking that I have everything squared away with my sign up. Break for taking care of puking daughter here... Once I see that I didn't sign up all the way, I go immediately to the "On Hold" and finish my sign up. Before I ever had it finished it was declined. After the day I had just had, then that decline on top of it - I mean really...less than 12 hours - I moved so fast back to that site and canceled my account you wouldn't have even seen a dust trail. I mean it, really, I gave every super-hero ever imagined a run for their money that day, I was so cheesed off about the whole thing. (Insert super-hero smiley with trailing cape right here!) So, now you know. Maybe if you weren't such a...never mind, I'm not even going there. I have a four year old whom I'm currently trying to teach that it isn't nice to call names. Gawd, I had to get that out and do my bit of venting and foot stomping for a few minutes there. Very humble apologies to every single other person reading this for my rant, but not to demalan. Maybe now he'll have an idea of why people get so cheesed at him for this kind of thing. (I'm still stuck on that whole less than 12 hours thing, I guess.) Still angry, Cindi

I think the main problem is that people sometimes forget that they are dealing with real human beings on this site. Most other referral sites have autoposters, or one person sitting at one computer signing up 100 different people who have no clue what they are getting into. I feel your pain, but thanks for the story. Jay

Hi Jay,
You are very welcome for the story. I just had to post it once I saw that first bit. I try to remember the whole real live human on the other end of the keyboard, and keep that in mind when working online, but it truly helps when we have others reminding us as well. You have a great site, and I love being a member here - really, I do - despite my bits of complaining!
Take care, Cindi
