Finally got a decent computer with Windows XP instead of the old one with Win98. Problem is I cannot login to GetRef.
What shall I do ?

Bizarre, First off check your security settings, enable javascript, and enable cookies. Second delete all items in your browser cache (Tools, Internet options, then delete all files). Try that and let me know if that cures it. Jay

Hey Jackie, I checked the logic on the login form, and it has to be a cookie issue. Check your internet explorer security settings, click custom, then scroll down until you see something to do with allow cookies. You need to make sure that you will allow cookies. Also make sure that you do not have a popup blocker or anything else installed that would block cookies (symantec or something). Also try deleting all cookies in Internet Explorer. You may want to try downloading Mozilla (FireFox) (www.mozilla.com) and see if you can connect to GetRef with that browser. If not, there may be a local issue with your ISP, Network, Firewall. I thought that someone else was having this problem. But I went throught the message board and couldn't find anything. Keep in touch with me and let me know whats going on with it. Jay

Hi Jackie, I don't mind if you still pay with stormpay, I trust you as you have made many successful payments in the past. Just pay getref@hotmail.com I hope that we can get this problem you are experiencing figured out. Im sort of at a loss about it. Jay

No luck.
Looks like I have to sign up as a new member. tried everything with no luck. Hopefully you can give me some history.
I'm in for the long haul so if I have to begin from the beginning it doesn't really matter.

First off, can you tell me do you have Service Pack 2 for XP installed? I just checked your username and password (The Opportunity account) and logged in with those credentials no problem, so it has nothing to do with GetRef. There are only three things that I can think of. A. Wrong UserName/Password combination. B. You have some software running that is blocking my server's attempt to create a cookie on your machine. C. There is a security setting on your browser that is preventing your machine from accepting a cookie (Dont think this is the case though because you said that you are experiencing the same issue with Mozilla). D. XP is doing something to prevent you from logging in, there are a bunch of new security settings on XP that might prevent a session from being created. If you can log in with a different newly created account, that means that there is some kind of local cache that is tied to that UserName. Might be an automatic password completer (make sure you type the password don't let it autocomplete for you), might be there is a cookie that exists that is causing issues. (Delete all cookies). We will figure this out, Jay

Hi Jackie, I copied your old account over to your new user name. Hope it works for you now, all your old referrals stuff and account history should be like your old account. Jay
