Hi! I have invested 2 credits on awesomeemails4u. A couple of days ago an email told me that Cybertex signed up, but checking at awesomeemails4u he wasn't in my downline, so I declined his request. Today I find the same user which again asks confirmation for awesomeemails4u, without being in my downline. This is a bit frustrating because if I decline his request again, I will get another negative point in my stats... I do not know if he is a newbie or what else... I hope you can fix this some way or another... thanks

This same user is doing the same thing to me. Probably some kid playing around who needs to grow up. Please ban this user! It's not fair for us honest members to have to get negatives because this user wants to play around.

I added the funcationality for a gold user to prevent a user from joining his/her programs. Upgrade to gold for 1 month, ban all the users that you want, then even after your gold runs out, that banned list will still be in effect. (you just cant view or make changes to it unless you are gold) Jay

By clicking 'Update' below I hereby declare that I have joined ****** using the 'Join NOW' link above. I understand fully that by falsely submitting this form, I would be in violation of GetRef User Agreements, and I could have my GetRef membership revoked.
I thought that this could be applied even if not having a goldmembership...

I do ban users when I get enough complaints, and their feedback rating shows that they have a history of abusing the system. I didnt think that's what was being asked. It seemed that you asked if there was a way this could be prevented by you the user. There is, upgrade to gold, then ban the user from joining your programs. If you are asking me to review this users account, I will do so, but I will not guarantee a user will be banned unless he meets the above criteria I have layed out. Jay

Jay,
Can u tell us at what point you will ban users that do this? After how many complaints or negatives must a person have? I already got one negative from this person. They came back twice for the OP (original poster) and the same program of theirs, I assume that they will try to come back to me again as well. I didn't want this to happen to me twice from the same person, so I took all my programs down so I have nothing listed now......

Hi again, Sorry no I cannot reveal to you how/why I make the decisions I do, and how to ban those users. I will tell you this much, each day I log on as an adminstrator to Getref, and I view a list of potential 'bad apples'.
The 'formula' that I use to identify these 'bad apples' takes into account many variables, how many negatives they have recieved (both as an earner and a buyer), the rating of the person that left the negative for that person, how often that person recieves negatives, the variance of that persons % negative compared to the average % negative, and a couple other things that I don't want to mention (A guys gotta have his secrets).
Finally, I also use my own judgement, as well as the judgement of my users to determine whether or not a user will be banned. If you have a suspect user, then always send me an email about the user and I will investigate/flag that persons account.
I take cheating very seriously here, and I deal with cheaters in a very harsh manner. I have methods in place that help to prevent users from using the system (even under another account) if they have been banned.
Jay
