You will now see that you can earn credits by clicking on users links under the earn option. Some links will be priced higher than others, its up to the user setting up the link to decide what to price the link at. Also, the user who sets up the link can decide how often another user can click on it, users can say unlimited clicks, or only once, and lots of options between. Its a good way to get some users to your website, plus I hope that some people who have had an excess of credits will be happy now that they have another new way to spend them. Gold members can set up 10 links (at the moment, this may change) regular members can set up 1 link (although you can edit this link to something different if you want) Comments and bug reports are welcome, Jay

Bravo Jay!
I like it as I can control how much credits to use and to give. Well thought of is the ability to determine the valid click intervals (per user, per day etc.). This could become another very good source of obtaining refs as the person can see the site first then choose to join or not. Would be nice if credits earned that way could be seen separatly at earn credits report (now there are links of programs joined and credits earned that way).
BTW, for one of the currently available URLs there is some error... I'm not sure if that's because of link itself or some hidden bug... After Credit button is clicked there is no confirmation message of credits earned but the timer starts over again... looks like some loop somewhere, I think it has something to do with the frequency option chosen for URL (once per user, day etc.).
Keep the good work!
Cheers, Ankica

Thanks for your kind words Ankica, I really spent a long time looking at a bunch of different Traffic Exchanges, and I took the things that I liked the most from all of these and combined them into one. I dont think I have ever seen a traffic exchange where the user can determine how often his link is clicked, so I think that is a unique feature to GetRef. I also eventually want to make an auto exchange. I think this would be a neat feature, instead of earning only credits for exposing your site, you can use credits for a variety of things at GetRef. Yes I noticed this bug last night, its actually not crediting the person multiple times, its crediting the person once like its supposed to, but it appears as though the user can credit a bunch of times. Im working on a fix for it as we speak. Jay

Hi Jay, I checked all the links today and found some more that loops... This link Neopets - Bored! Come and play with your cyberpets!! still loops 5 times before got credits message is issued. Also, the link stays clickable in the table (after getting credit and refreshing the table, it's OK if unlimited clicks are specified). When clicked on the 2nd time it doesn't loops any more. Then refreshing the table, clicked again... looping again... I understand there is only one credit for it (is it for the 1st or last view?), but it's annoying to watch the site all over again I guess it has something to do with the options for that specific link (click unlimited?). The link The Affiliate Advertising Network - This has the potential of a good income for a long time. Great place to advertise. loops 2 times, and after getting credit and refreshing the table it's not any more in the table. I hope this will help you to track the reasons and fix it. Keep the good work! Ankica

I like this option! I've been busy working on several of my own websites, and it will be nice to give the awesome members of GetRef a chance to check them out. The click frequency is very useful. I do have one concern: some sites may spawn multiple pops and/or viruses. Will there be some way to screen the sites before they are made active for clicking?
Thanks! Great value-added option!
~Christine

I like the new feature, but when you changed the earn.asp page, I believe you broke the ability to see all of the programs a certain member has listed. If you go to the "join a program" page and select a program to join, then click on any of the members names, it will take you to www.getref.com/earn.asp?UserID=xxxxx This used to show all of the member's available programs but now it just goes back to the earn landing page. I really enjoyed this feature because if somebody signed up under me and was an active member, I could return the favor by joining one of their sites. -- Marc

Wow, has that change? I haven't tried since clicking is include. If that's the true I would vote for returning it back as I also used it to see what my best members advertise and join them.
Thanks for letting us know.

Now I don't get any referrals when asigning my credits. Still, I love the links clicking for credits, it gives me some traffic, but the ability to buy referrals now has almost no effect.
