Hello, Most of the cheating problem about sign-ups rises from the fact that the people who pretend they have signed-up just had to enter a name in the box, right ? If that is so why not ask them to enter the confirmation e-mail they have received instead ? That's what is done on some French programs and I've seen it on an American one too (but I can't remember which, Advercash maybe ?). It wouldn't turn inactives to actives of course, but at least it would show they HAVE signed-up. Just a suggestion...

Yes it's a good idea. Maybe we can implement something like this in the future. It's not currently in the works however, it would require huge changes to the system. Jay

Yes I agree I have lost alot of credits from people saying they have signed up and they have not also if you record it on get ref then people think you will do the same to them. So they don't really want to join your programs. That's why I have approved people even if they have not signed up so I don't get a bad rating. Anyway look into changing this Jay.

When you approve them after they didn't sign up you are encouraging this behavior and we will all suffer at some point

That is why it must be changed. I don't encourge bad behavior but I am not going to get a bad rating because of someone else. Better to at least get rating points then get no ref and -1 rating point. Changing this system should be top on jay's list of to do's. You will only suffer if you decline. People see this and say I won't join because they decline credit. Weather you have a good reason or not makes no difference.
