Ok guys, It's your site, you guys decide. How many days should a pending referral be 'pending'. Jay

5 days is long enough to know whether you are going to be active for me in even the slowest program. In the faster programs it will let me know just how active you will be.
Just wish we could do something about the folks that delete thier accounts shortly after you approve their points.

Hi, I don't think it really matters how long the referrals are pending. Whether they have to wait 3, 5 or however many days, IF they are dishonest they will still delete themselves as soon as you approve their credits. So far I have been lucky. I only had one member that has done that to me, unfortunately he joined under 6 of my programs, so I ended up wasting 12 credits. But you live and learn, and I will never approve that member for any program again. Well that's my two cents worth! Ash tigon

Sorry this is so long-winded ;D
I think you need to categorise members. If they are Gold members or members of standing (by time or points or whatever) they get a shorter waiting period than someone who is new and unknown. The trial period could be a month and if found to be fairly active with no complaints against them they are upgraded to full member.
Therefore we should also have an area in the Forum for complaints against members which they will obviously be able to respond to if they feel they have been reported unfairly. If reported and guilty their trial period is extended or they are deleted.
I think this would be a good advertising point as well. People would be happy to join knowing they would get active downlines. Current members would also be happier to go Gold.

I like gemima's idea. right now we can see a persons buying and selling rates, maybe a spot where we can go and give them an approval rating, after a certain time period of being in our dl we can go give them a rating of active, did nothing, deleted right away, etc.
complaint folder would be ok, but then we would have to go and look through it every time before we aproved anyone just to check on them

The fact that only 5 people have voted on this topic to me shows that it is an issue that can be left for now. Even the people that did vote do not all agree on one option. Seems to me I'll just leave it the way it is for now. Jay
